Well here’s my trucks story!
I grew up around these trucks and I’ve wanted one since I was 5.
I picked up a rusty 1971 f250 2wd that I fixed up enough to make it my daily driver. It was my first truck at 15 or 16 years old. Then, after 2 years of gathering enough parts to sink a ship I took the whole truck apart and after rebuilding and upgrading all the mechanical, electrical and metal components. I even swapped the 71 body onto a complete restored 69 f250 4x4 chassis!
Over the course of 8 months I spent 10+ hours every day in the backyard.
Always keeping the old school look cuz that’s what I like.
This truck is extremely reliable , I drive it all year as my work truck from the nice summer days to snowy mountains in the winter.
It’s not scared of work and performs as it should as I need it too. I plan on keeping it forever. Many of my buddies have the similar trucks that we all build together and go cruising with.
Not too many 24 year olds keeping up with the old school hobbies but I enjoy it!
