@BodyByHighboy : When you purchased your truck, what kind of truck were you looking for?
@Bluetruck_7.3 : I’ve always wanted a highboy and had been searching for a project to start a simple build with. I came across a marketplace add for a guy selling a 77 f250 and a rust free 76 f150 cab and chassis and figured this would be a perfect start.
@BodyByHighboy : If you could only share one story or experience with your truck, what would it be?
@Bluetruck_7.3 : The main reason I built this truck is to have it in my wedding. Also, that’s the only way I could convince my fiancé, now wife, to let me build it. The build started January of 2020 and we were set to get married in May. Well we all know how the year of 2020 went and we ended up postponing our wedding until the following year. This was so disappointing, but made it a perfect year for a truck build since everything was shut down. I spend the rest of the year working on this build almost every weekend in my father in law’s garage. Turned out to be way more work than I ever anticipated, but being able to work on the truck with my wife and father in law was a blast. Once the truck was road worthy I was so excited to drive it. Of course when my wife jumped in and drove she immediately said it’s hers and thanks for the wedding present. Being able to have this truck in my wedding and now take it out to car shows or cruise around is such a good feeling because I built it.

@Bluetruck_7.3 : My future plans are to keep finishing the small details and eventually do some engine performance modifications.
